How this Digital SAT score calculator works
Add the correct answers from both Reading and Writing modules, then do the same for Math. This calculator maps those two totals to the score ranges in College Board's paper Practice Test 4 scoring worksheet. It uses your Module 1 percentage to choose a point inside each range, then adds the two section estimates for a total from 400 to 1600.
That final placement step is a disclosed PsychSAT heuristic. It is useful for planning, but it is not College Board's private scoring model or a promise of an official score.

Raw scores vs. scaled scores
A raw count is simply how many questions you answered correctly. A scaled section score runs from 200 to 800. The two scaled section scores add to a total between 400 and 1600. There is no single public raw-to-scaled conversion for every live SAT form.
College Board says the digital model considers the characteristics of the questions, the response pattern, and the probability that a pattern reflects guessing. It also includes pretest questions that do not affect the official score. That is why two students with the same number correct can receive different section scores.
What is a good Digital SAT score?
A good score is one that supports your own college list, scholarship goals, and starting point. As one objective reference, College Board currently lists college and career readiness benchmarks of 480 for Reading and Writing and 530 for Math. Those benchmarks are not admissions cutoffs, and a college's typical score range may be much higher or lower.

How accurate is a Digital SAT score calculator?
Treat any calculator based only on correct-answer counts as an estimate. The live SAT is adaptive and uses Item Response Theory, while this tool starts from a released paper practice worksheet and applies a transparent placement heuristic. The range is more honest than implying one raw count always produces one exact score.
